The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs oversees university compliance with disability, privacy, and nondiscrimination laws as they apply to students and administration of the University Code of Student Conduct. The office also works in collaboration with all student services and student affairs offices in the development and interpretation of student life policies.
Students should usually raise any concerns with the university office most closely associated with their question. For example, concerns about charges on a university bill should be directed first to Student Accounting Services.
This office can help with issues regarding:
- The Code of Student Conduct, including an academic integrity matter
- Possible violations of the university's Nondiscrimination Policy, including complaints by students with disabilities
- Privacy of student records and student information
- University policies relating to student life and services
- Identification of the correct student services office to contact
